...that mean's its time to start hunting for cute things to decorate my room with!
It's been a long while now since I returned home from university for summer, but the time is getting closer where I will be packing up and moving back to Southampton for my second year of uni life.
Before I go back I want to make sure I have all the little things that I feel will make my room special, so I have started buying little bits and bobs for my room, here's some of the things I have bought so far...

Work experience at More! magazine...from meeting Mark Heyes to dressing a gorgeous model!
I bet you can imagine my excitement when I was offered two weeks work experience at more! magazine in London...
Just a girl from the tiny Isle of Wight and I was ready to take on the big city of London!
I decided I would commute each day from my student house in Southampton each day as it was the cheapest option. So, with an exciting 5.20am start each morning I made my way to London by train then took to the underground where I made my way towards more! Magazine.
Here is the outfit I chose for my first day:
Blue polka dot dress, Primark
Red bag, Accessorize
'LOVE' necklace, New Look
Pearls, charity shop
Teacup bracelet, Topshop
As frightening as the first days of travel were, I managed to find my way eventually even if it did mean asking 50 people on my way! But now my weeks are up, I almost feel like a pro at it!
My first day was definately one of my highlights- I bumped into GMTV fashion stylist Mark Heyes down Neal Street and actually stopped and had a chat with him! We spoke about fashion, his holiday he was about to go on and about a new surprise he had in store for the styling part of GMTV! He told me to say hi to the more! girls and gave me a hug and of he went! =D
The rest of my week consisted of returns, collecting clothes, calling up PR's, compiling outfits for photo shoots and other little jobs that anyone asked me to do!
I also had a meeting with all the girls on the fashion department, where I had the opportunity to ask any questions...I made the most of this.
Top Tips to get into a fashion magazine
1. To have character
2. To be Reliable
3. work experience. work experience. work experience.
The second week I was lucky enough to go for a day long photo shoot for More's 'more for less' section, this was by far my favourite day! I began by pressing the clothes the model was going to be wearing. I was then introduced to the photographer, make-up artist/hair stylist and model, they were all lovely and I managed to chat to them about their jobs. My job was to dress the model and pin her into the clothes, where the clothes were much too big for her tiny frame, I could then watch her being photographed whilst writing the credits for everything she wore.
All in all these two weeks were a great experience where I leant a lot of new things that will now stick with me forever!
Here are some of my outfits that I wore during the two weeks...
Blue dress with lace underskirt, Ebay
Red bag, Accessorize
Red Bow &'LOVE' necklace, both New Look
Leggings, Primark
Striped maxi dress, New Look
Red flower corsage, Accessorize
Small strand of pearls, charity shop
Long Strand, New Look
Pearl earrings, Accessorize
Bow ring, Live like this
Bracelet, Top Shop
Necklaces &flower (as above)

My new job at New Look... and the lovely new outfits that come with it!
After returning from University for summer, I simply needed to find a job. I really desperately didn't want to go back to my part-time job of four years at Matalan. You know one of those jobs where you have been there so long, you kind of get stuck in a routine of returning again and again, because it just seems easier.
Well, this time I decided I will find a new job that I enjoy and preferably that involves my love for fashion.
So, after lots of CV's handed out and no response, I went into New Look to hand in my CV and had a chat with the manager then I was called up for an interview, then just 2 days later I was told I had the job!
I couldn't decide which I was more pleased about, the money I would be earning or the 50% discount!! :D
So here are some of my outfits...
Dress with swallow print, £12 in sale
Bow Belt, £6
Flower, £3
Leggings, £8
Bow Necklace, £3
Red Bracelets, £3
Prices before discount. All New Look
Shoes £16
Heart top, £10.99
Black skirt, £8
Dotty bow dress, £16
Hope you like my outfits :)
